Program of Work

Each year, the Tennessee FBLA State Officer Team develops a Program of Work that outlines their goals, initiatives, and focus areas for the school year. This student-driven plan serves as a roadmap for how the state officer team will engage members, promote leadership, and support the mission of FBLA across the state.

Advocacy

  • FBLA and CTE Advocacy: Work to maintain a consistent and year-round focus on advocacy efforts.

  • Resource Organization and Education: Compile resources and create new materials to simplify advocacy with a focus on educating and preparing members to share their personal FBLA experiences effectively.

Communications

  • Social Media: Create content to create an exciting online community to engage members and provide resources and information.

Leadership Development

  • Promote Leadership Opportunities: Create additional resources to encourage members to take leadership roles at all levels, supporting FBLA’s mission of empowering future business leaders.

  • Foster Collaboration and Growth: Through video calls and other initiatives, help further members’ leadership journeys by providing networking opportunities and promoting the exchange of ideas between chapters.
